Sapele: Sky Pop Foundation Empowers Over Hundred Widows With N650, 000

There was great jubiliation in Sapele yesterday, Wednesday 6th May, 2020, as Sky Pop Foundation empowered over hundred widows in Ugberikoko axis of Sapele, Delta State.
Speaking during the ceremony, Mr Frank Nujimen, the CEO of the foundation and award winner of most outstanding PDP youth personality for female empowerment, said that as the lockdown order of the state government exceeded one month, he was moved to ameliorate the suffering of widows occasioned by the Covid-19 pandemic.
The Spanish business tycoon who is now based in Sapele said that the gesture is borne out of love and concern for the needy in society, adding that the beneficiaries were picked randomly irrespective of political affiliation or religion.
The young philanthropist promised to do more as he already has the number of about One hundred and five widows across the wards on his pay roll.
Mrs. Florence Akinyomi the chairlady of widows forum in ward seven thanked the CEO of the foundation, noting that his generosity and concern for widows is unique.
She prayed that the good Lord will continue to bless him and enrich him to do more.
Another beneficiary of the Sky Pop empowerment scheme, Mrs Grace Okoro, thanked members of the Sky Pop foundation for their love and concern at a time like this.
She prayed for the growth and development of the foundation.
The foundation also assisted a lady who put to bed with the sum of fifty thousand naira to enable her get a few baby things for her baby. The woman by name, Mrs Efetubor, thanked Mr Frank Nujimen CEO of the foundation for his kind gesture and prayed that the good Lord uplifts him in all his endeavour.
Those who were present during the empowerment ceremony includes Comrade Umurhurhu Akpore F, Mrs Florence Akimyomi, Miss Rita Queen, Mrs Veronica Eghaghara and a host of others.
