Journalist, Fejiro Oliver Regains Freedom After Hours Of Detention In DSS Custody
Investigative journalist and Co-Publisher of Secret Reporters, Mr. Fejiro Oliver, has been released after been held in detention by men of the Department of State Security (DSS) since 10am today.
A source close to him disclosed that Oliver was freed by the DSS this evening at about 8.20pm.
Insider sources told our correspondent that the DSS State allegedly detained the journalist on alleged directives of Delta State government but the journalist was released after calls from higher authorities came, where the DSS Director was given marching order from Abuja to release Mr. Fejiro Oliver who has been in the custody of the operatives since morning.
It was gathered that the DSS operatives invited the journalist cum publisher following a story of an armed robbery operation that took place inside Delta Government House.
