Okpe Kingdom Seeks God’s Face, Holds Fasting And Prayer Program
… As Okpe Monarch Lauds Bishop Iboyi, OCC

Okpe Kingdom in Delta State has organized a two day fasting and prayer program to seek the face of God and ask for his mercy especially in this period when the entire world is experiencing difficulties as a result of the deadly pandemic, Covid:19 which is a global emergency.
The Orodje of Okpe Kingdom, His Royal Majesty, Orhue 1, CFR, Mni, in his remarks, said that Okpe Kingdom is in the hands of God, noting that the kingdom is for Christ.
The Okpe Monarch added that the growth of Okpe Kingdom is in the hands of God.
He made this assertions while thanking members of the Okpe Christian Assembly Worldwide, also known as Okpe Christian Council of Nigeria, OCC, led by Bishop Godday Iboyi for their unalloyed support and total commitment to the spiritual growth of the Okpe Kingdom.
The Orodje who particularly expressed deep gratitude and satisfaction towards the manner in which the fasting and prayer program was organized, again thanked the President General of the Okpe Christian Assembly, Bishop Godday Iboyi, noting that, he is one of Okpe’s fast growing pastors who is committed to the affairs of Okpe Kingdom.
In his short exhortation, President of the Okpe Christian Assembly, Rt. Rev. Godday Iboyi while speaking on a message titled ” Oh Lord, Heal our Land”, took his text from 2 Chronicles 7:14-15.
Bishop Godday Iboyi in his sermon told the congregation that for God to heal Okpe Land, the people of the kingdom must first seek the face of the lord, there must be genuine repentance by the people and finally, he said that for Okpe Kingdom to experience a new positive dimension, the people of the kingdom must offer acceptable offerings to God Almighty.
He then urged all Okpe sons and daughters from the political circle, to cultivate the habit of supporting and promoting Okpe sons who are pastors.
The 2020 fasting and prayer program of the Okpe Kingdom held at the Udogun Hall, Orerokpe, in Okpe Local Government Area of Delta State, was well attended by sons and daughters of Okpe Kingdom within and outside the country.
Among whom were: Bishop Godday Iboyi,
President General, Okpe Christian Assembly, Rt. Revd. Christian Ide, Bishop Dioceses of Warri (Anglican Communion), Bishop Great Omasheye and Bishop S.E. Dieruenaba.
Others are: Hon. Eugene Inoaghan, Chairman of Sapele Local Government Area, Hon. Austin Ayemidejor. Chief James Aguoye, Hon. Julius Egbede, Commissioner of Agriculture, Delta State, Hon. J.J. Scott, Chairman, Okpe Local Government Area, Hon. Stanley Eshainomi, Captain of industries including wife of the Orodje of Okpe Kingdom, the Izu-Okpe and other top traditional Chiefs in the kingdom.
It should be noted that social distance was well observed during the program.
Highlight of the program was a special prayer for Okpe Kingdom against deaths of Okpe sons and daughters by the Okpe Monarch and other anointed men of God.
