COVID-19: UPU Youthwing Prays For Speedy Recovery Of Okowa, Wife, Daughter

The President, Urhobo Progress Union (UPU), Youthwing, Worldwide, Comrade Efemena Umukoro, has joined well-meaning Deltans to pray for the speedy recovery of the Governor of Delta State, Senator (Dr) Ifeanyi Okowa, his wife, Dame Edith Okowa and daughter for quick recovery after they tested positive for COVID-19.
The Governor and his wife tested positive to COVID-19 on Wednesday, after their daughter contracted the disease and was confirmed positive some days ago.
The youth leader urged the Governor to be firm in faith and be optimistic that the situation will become a thing of the past soon, adding that Covid-19 is not a death sentence.
While praying for Governor Okowa and his family to come out if this unscathed, the President thanked the Okowa-led adminstration for combating the virus in the state.
Umukoro urged the general public to continue to support Okowa’s administration in combating the COVID-19 pandemic by obeying all the prescribed rules and regulations released by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control and the World Health Organisation (WHO).
