Service Of Songs And Night Of Tributes For Joyce Overah Holds In Sapele

Family and friends gathered on Friday, July 24, 2020, to bid farewell to the late Hon. Joyce Overah, the member who hitherto represented Sapele, Ethiope West, and Okpe local government areas on the board of DESOPADEC before his sudden demise which occurred on Tuesday June 9th, 2020 after a brief illness.
At the service of songs that took place at St Martin’s Catholic Church, Sapele, Delta State, where his immediate family members, extended family members, members of the Sapele PDP political class, members of the DESOPADEC board and a host of other dignatries.
Amongst family members present were Mr Alex Overah, Mr Friday Overah, Mr Happy Overah, Mr Raymond Overah, Mr Paul Overah, Mrs Anthonia Overah, Mrs Honey Tega Overah, Miss Devyne Overah, Master Obaro Overah, Miss Emmanuella Overah and others
Also present at the event were members of the political class that include Chief Eugene Inoaghan, Chief John Obukowho Nani, Chief Ejaife Odebala, Chief Charles Obule, Chief Paulinus Akpeki, Hon. Julius Egbedi, Chief Vincent Oyibode, Dr Austin Arieja, Chief Mrs Beauty Esiso, Evangelist Mrs Mary Diden and a host of other dignatries.
In a brief address, Mr Alex Overah thanked all those who took out time to attend the service of songs, and requested their presence during the burial ceremony as well.
