Ex-President Obasanjo Absent, As Buhari Presides Over Council Of State Meeting

President Muhammadu Buhari is currently presiding over a virtual meeting of the National Council of State.

Physically present are former President Goodluck Jonathan, President of the Senate, Ahmad Lawan, Minister of the FCT Mohammed Bello and the Attorney General of the Federation Abubakar Malami.

Joining virtually are former Presidents Abdusalam Abubakar, Ernest Shonekan and Ibrahim Babangida.

Conspicously absent is former President Olusegun Obasanjo.

It is the first meeting of the Council since the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic.
