UPU Youthwing Assures FUPRE VC Of Massive Support
The leadership of Urhobo Progress Union, Ukoko re Okugbe re ighelle, UPU Youthwing, Worldwide, ably led by activist Kelly Efemena Umukoro yesterday paid a courtesy call on the Vice Chancellor of the Federal University of Petroleum Resources, FUPRE, Prof Rim Rukie, as they assured him of their massive support while his tenure lasts.

said this during a visit to congratulate the VC on his emergence.
Also, Oasis Magazine (OM) learnt that the said courtsey call was to also
strengthen the existing relationship between the management of the institution and UPU Youthwing.

The Vice Chancellor in his remarks stressed the need for a close relationship between the gown and the town.
While appreciating the kind gesture of the Urhobo ethnic youth leaders for initiating the familiarization and congratulatory visit, he expressed his readiness to partner with the Urhobo Progress Union.
Furthermore, he commended the youth body for their nobel programs and efforts in changing the narrative in Urhobo land.
Continuing, he encouraged them to continue their good works and ensure that they work for the unity of Urhobo youths.
Earlier, Comrade Umukoro, in his speech enumerated the achievements of his adminstration so far.
He touched on key programs organised by the body and hinted on future programs in the offing.
The President on behalf of Urhobo youths congratulated the academic don on his elevation to the position of Vice Chancellor and prayed for a successful and impactful tenure.
Executive members who accompanied Umukoro on the visit include Bar Harry Ehaoma, Secretary, Mughele Edesiri Frank, Vice President, Comr Toka, Spokesman and Prince Ukuanovwe Godstime OJ, Publicity Secretary.
