Following the offshoot of many churches nearly on daily basis these days across the world of which Nigeria is a part, the Leading Pastor and Founder of Faith Ambassador of Christ Church International a.k.a Grace Bowl, Pastor Vincent Udume said the establishment of church is not money making but to bring more souls especially those who are neck-deep in sin to Lord Jesus Christ, just as he said those who establish church for money making purpose (if any), are not called by God.

Pastor Udume stated this today Sunday in the yearly conference of the church tagged: “Family and Love “with this year’s theme; “Spark From the Spirit’; which was held in the church situatted along Effurun/Sapele Road, Effurun,
Opposite Oghene Plaza, Delta State.

He said while he can only speak for himself, the ministry is not profit making rather, apart from being a contact to bring more souls to Jesus Christ, the ministry is helping the indigent in the society, saying God has a way of financing His projects.

The clergy said the programme which is organized every September, apart from being used to reconnect people especially those who are yet to know God to God’s presence, it is meant to put smiles on the faces of the widows, orphans and other needy among members and society with various gifts items such as food items and others, saying that the ministry demonstrates love because God himself is love.

He said: ‘This programme is used to ignite the words of God that shows His love for humanity. That is, we reach out to the world with words of God because God is love.

The man of God who said as clergies and christians, they have the task to preach the gospel, adding that, it is now left for the hearer of the words of God to either accept or reject, saying nobody is compelled to accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour, but it is good to have total repentance in order to have eternal salvation.

The clergy who said he was once a politician and doing well but had to quit and concentrate fully in Jesus Christ’s ministry, added that he did so because, God has a purpose for his call and that is what he is doing today by winning more souls to the kingdom.

He said:”I was in politics and l was doing well when I was called by God and I quit politics precisely since 2015 because God wants to use me to bring souls to His Kingdom and today, l am doing what God has told me to do with all happiness.”

Pastor Udume who spoke on a wide range of issues including the need to avoid fornication, said, Christians should avoid any sinful act and anything which is abominable in the sight of God just as he admonished those yet to know God to do so to have eternal salvation.

Highpoint of the week-long programme was prayers, praise songs, worship and dance to the glory of God.
