Edo: We Are Studying The Results, Will Announce Next Move Soon– Ize-Iyamu

The candidate in the just concluded Edo governorship election, Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu, has commended his supporters for their determination during the election, saying that they “had to endure many evils including being prevented from voting.”
He added in a tweet: “I assure you all that I am studying the results along with other party members and will announce my next move soon.”

Ize-Iyamu came second in the results announced by the Returning Officer with 223, 619 votes, while the winner, Godwin Obaseki of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) got 307,955 votes.
