Veteran Nollywood Actress, Louisa Nwobodo Passes On At 78

It’s another sad day for Nollywood as it loses a rare gem, actress Louisa Nwobodo known for playing roles in many movies.
Former Chairman, Actors Guild of Nigeria, Enugu Chapter, Stan K Amadi, who confirmed her death to local media said the 78-year-old passed out on Sunday, September 13th, 2020, in her car in St. Mulumbas Catholic Church, New Haven, Enugu.
However, helpers who were at the scene came to her rescue. she was quickly to the hospital where she was confirmed dead.
Her body has been deposited at the morgue pending her Funeral arrangements.
It has not been confirmed the cause of her passing although it has not been determined if her death was COVID-19 related.
Before her death, she starred in hit movies like Johnbull and RoseKate and had carved a name for herself in the industry.
She is survived by children and grandchildren. Her family is yet to make any official statement at the time of this report. She is going to be missed greatly by fans and lovers of her movies.
