Delta PDP Receives Boost As Otomiewo Leads Over 2000 Decampees To Join Party At Ekpan

Former candidate of the Progressive Peoples Alliance, PPA, in the 2019 Delta House of Assembly elections in Uvwie State Constituency, Hon. Victor Otomiewo, has given a huge boost to the Delta State Peoples Democratic Party, PDP when he led over 2000 of his supporters to decamp to the state ruling party PDP recently in Ekpan, Uvwie LGA near Warri, Delta State.

Hon. Otomiewo while leading his supporters to decamp to the PDP Ward 9, Ekpan, said they have come back to PDP to give the party the needed boost for it to continually succeed because “Delta State is a PDP state”.

The former Uvwie DTHA candidate stated that his followers believed in his ideology hence they have followed him crossing to the PDP, noting that his motivation is the Delta State governor, Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa’s achievements in all sectors and parts of the state that made him to have more trust and confidence in the PDP and the state government as well as the leader of PDP from Uvwie area, Rt. Hon. Evelyn Oboro for her aesthetic leadership.

Vice Chairman and Chairmanship aspirant of Uvwie LGC, Chief Napoleon Ifie expressed delight that Hon. Otomiewo has returned back to PDP, describing him as a great mobilizer for both indigenes and non indigenes for any election in the state for the party.

While commending Hon. Otomiewo for joing PDP, PDP mobilizer , Hon. Francis Obule stressed that it is only PDP that can reposition Nigeria in 2023, as he assured all of bringing back others to the party.

The PDP chieftain noted that anyone outside PDP is leaving in exile.

Otomiewo as a general whom they are pleased with all the time.

In their solidarity, other supporters of Hon. Otomiewo appealed to the party to encourage and carry him along as they are fully ready to support and mobilise for the PDP they added that as local government election and other elections draws nearer they will unanimously come together to make sure “PDP victory be their priority because Uvwie LGA and Delta a PDP state,” they stressed.
