BREAKING: Okowa Relaxes Delta Curfew, Now 10PM To 6AM Daily

The Delta State Government has announced further relaxation of the curfew imposed in the state by Governor Ifeanyi Okowa.
According to a statement signed by the Secretary to the State Government, Mr. Chiedu Ibie, noted that the curfew will now be enforced between 10pm to 6am daily beginning from today (Wednesday).
Governor Okowa had imposed curfew in the state following the violence that rocked the peaceful #EndSARS protests which was hijacked by hoodlums that led to destruction of public and private property in some parts of the state.

According to the statement, “It is hereby announced for the information of the general public particular Deltans and residents, that Delta State Government has readjusted the time for the prevailing curfew imposed due to the disorderly conduct that followed the recent #EndSARS protest to a new period of 10pm-6am.
“The new period takes effect from today, Wednesday, 4th November, 2020.
“The State Government commends Deltans and residents for their understanding and support to the government efforts in ensuring peace and security for the good of all.”
