As part of efforts to boost security and sustain the synergy between the Nigerian Army and Sapele/Okpe Community, residents of Sapele Local Government Area of Delta State have lauded the security architecture of men of the 19: Battalion of the Nigerian Army, Koko led by the Commanding Officer, Major J.C Mohammad for the good work the Army is doing in ensuring that lives and properties are protected in the area.

This commendation was the outcome of a meeting held recently in Sapele by a group known as” Concern Safarian for Good Governance”.

In a statement made available to newsmen by the Chairman of the organization, Mr. Okoro Peters stated that the men of the 19:Battalion of the Nigerian Army Koko have distinguished themselves in the discharge of their primary function of protecting the citizens and the territory of Nigeria.

The group while decrying the recent rate of cult related activities in Sapele Local Government, call on the security agency to do the needful in this regard even as it reiterates its commitment and continuous support for the Army for the role the security agency is playing, maintaining that Sapele/Okpe residents will give the needed assistance when necessary aimed at promoting and sustaining the cordial relationship between the 19: Battalion of the Nigerian Army and the communities.

Highpoint of the meeting was a vote of confidence passed on the Nigerian Army, Koko.
