2020 FAFT Zonal Q/F: Excellent, Lord Honour, Sporting FC Out, Iwere, New Vision, Palm Syrup For Semi Final

Iwere Fc emerged 1:0 winner against Sporting fc in the NLO2 encounter of the Felix Anirah Football Tournament zonal quarter final match played this Friday.

Lord Honour were also shown the exit into the much important semi final stage with a 2:3 penalty kicks after a 1:1 draw by New Vision in the Warri Center.

Excellent Fc never saw it coming with a 2:0 bashing by Palm Syrup of Uyo while Osaven fc and Ayuma fc game ended 2:4 in favor of Ayuma fc after a full time 1:1 draw.

Also in the Sapele zonal quarters final, Sugar Luxury fc played a 1:1 draw against Sundof but lost with a marathon 9:8 penalty shootout.
Also, Governor Peters fc lost to Golden Stars 1-0 to complete the teams that Qualified to the Zonal Semi Final .

While the game between Eagle wings and Rolly Fc was postponed to Sunday November 6th even though Eagle’s was leading 1:0 in the 70th minute.

Winner between both teams will represent Edo State in the Semi Final.

The Zonal Semi Finals action will resume 7th of December.
