Delta Council Elections: Owoso Clinches PDP Chairmanship Ticket For Ethiope West

Hon. Oghenedoro Owoso on Saturday clinched the chairmanship ticket of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, for Ethiope West Local Government Area for the March 6, 2021, local government elections in Delta State.
According to Chief Ighoyota Amori, Owoso from Jesse ward 5, emerged the party’s chairmanship candidate for the council area after a keenly contested primaries.
The said primaries held at the Oghara residence of former governor of the state, Chief James Ibori.
Owoso was among the eleven PDP chairmanship aspirants that were determined to fly the flag of the party for the 2021 council polls in the area.

His closest challenger it was further gathered was Hon Jude Fregene, a lawyer, who is generally loved by the people for his grassroots political participation, maturity and diplomatic approach to issues.
