Delta Police Chief Vows To Fish Out Killers Of Anti-Cult Commander, Calls For Calm

Commissioner of Police, Delta State, CP Hafiz Mohammed Inuwa, has expressed deep sympathy over the killing of the anti-cult commander in the state, Amb Austyne Emu by gunmen.

Emu was murdered on Saturday night during his visit to Kwale.

CP Inuwa in his post on a social media platform in reaction to the death of Emu, appealed for calm, urging that nobody should take the law into his or her hands.

He assured that: “Those who murdered our friend and working colleague will know no peace until they are arrested, investigated and eventually charged to court.”

Inuwa wrote: “Good morning Colleagues. I write to express my deepest condolences on the death of our friend and working colleague Late Austine. He was with me in my office up till evening of Friday and planned to meet this week again. We laughed and had fruitful discussions that day before enemies of the state snipped life out of him yesterday. Pls while two wrongs cannot make a right, I want to plead that nobody should take the law into his/her hands. I assure you as the Commissioner of Police that those who murdered our friend and working colleague will know no peace until they are arrested, investigated and eventually charge to court. I assure you that even in death, Late Austine deserves justice and those who perpetrated the act must be brought to justice. So please, all should Partner with the Police to bring them to justice.
