Laudable! Ooni Of Ife To Sponsor Five Million Undergraduates

The Arole Oduduwa and Ooni of Ife, His Highness Ooni Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi Ojaja II, has launched a fund to educate the public.
The Sun Newspaper reports that on Wednesday, December 9, 2020, the foundation was launched to fund the education of five million students.
According to the newspaper, the foundation, set up by King Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi II, will house five million students a year.
Beneficiaries of the fund will be drawn from universities across the country.
His Excellency Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi’s dream is to see children go to school and get an education, he laments the plight of some of his students.

The king will set aside N50,000 per student per year, for four years this foundation will serve the selected students until they graduate.
Each year, the Cincibo Foundation will cost N500 billion.
Announcing the plan at Oodua Palace, the king said Nigeria was in big trouble if the youths were not educated and their lives were improved.
He said: “I set up this fund to support the government’s efforts. It is better to reform the country than to run away from Nigeria.”
Ooni said wealthy individuals, companies and organizations in Nigeria and abroad would be consulted to raise funds for this ambitious project.
