Group Tackles Ex-Skye Bank MD Over Theft Allegation Against Ned Nwoko

A Niger Delta Peace advocacy group, known as the Niger Delta Dialogue Peace Initiative has described as “Frivolous” and “baseless” the allegation of theft and fraudulent acts brought against Prince Ned Nwoko by the former Managing Director of Skye Bank, Mr Olatunde John Ayeni.
According to the Niger Delta Dialogue Peace Initiative, Hon. Ned Nwoko is an illustrious son of the Niger Delta region who has paid a lot of price in peace building and community development with human empowerment activities across the length and breathe of Niger Delta region.
The Niger Delta Dialogue Peace Initiative, after an emergency meeting convened by its National Coordinator, Hon. Prince Jude Tabai and Deputy National Coordinator, CMDR. Fiawei Pathfinder, stated that the attention of the group was drawn to the allegations by Mr. Olatunde John Ayeni, the former Managing Director of Skye Bank now Polaris Bank claiming that Hon. Ned Nwoko is involved in alleged shaddy and fraudulent deals.

According to the group, “We, as a peace advocacy group that have had opportunity and privilege to work with Hon. Ned Nwoko can confirm that he is a gentle entrepreneur and legitimate billionaire business man who has never involved in any financial mismanagement issues. He has never been involved in shady deals even when he was in the Federal House Of Representative as a honourable member. ”
The group, which is made up of peace advocates and ex-Militant learders from the Niger Delta, declared that its preliminary investigation showed that the allegation was sponsored and coated with false intention against the duo of Hon. Ned Nwoko and High Chief Captain Hosa Okunbo, ” the story was coated, that he, Rt. Hon Barr. Prince Ned-Nwoko connived with one High Chief Captain Hosa Okunbor the chairman of Ocean Marine Solutions Company limited that is handling pipeline surveillance security contract jobs in the creek of Niger Delta to divert shares of 30,000,000, ordinary shares of N1 Naira each that belongs to he Tunde John Ayeni in the OMSL company, as a business partner to Chief Captain Hosa Okunbor, and that the said company shares that belongs to him in the OMSL was diverted and monetized as billions and paid into Barr. Prince Ned-Nwoko company off which that was the funds Rt. Hon Barr Prince Ned-Nwoko used to transact his Paris club bail out funds to do a business deal with the federal on the Paris club funds issues in collaboration with Chief Captain Hosa Okunbor.”
“With this knowledge, we the leadership of the Niger Delta Dialogue Peace Initiative want to use this opportunity to warn the so called Mr Tunde John Ayeni to desist from false accusation or otherwise he will make us to venge our anger on him if refuses to stay clear of this smear campaign and futile efforts to dent the good image of Hon. Barr Prince Ned-Nwoko.”
“And as such we the leadership of the Niger Delta Dialogue Peace Initiative group also want to seize this opportunity to correct the falsely pupblisized statement made by the acting National chairman of ALGON, who is making careless statement on the pages of news paper and online media against Hon. Barr. Prince Ned-Nwoko over the court judgement directing the Ministry of finance to aknowledge the contract agreement between the federal government and the company of Barr Ned-Nwoko on the Paris club bail out funds off wish the court directed that the finance Ministry should henceforth deduct some certain amount from the monthly funds of the 36 state government accounts and the 774 local government accounts as outstanding dept due to the Paris club bail out funds. ”
“And as such, the general public should not be deceived because the truth is that it is the duty of the lender to collect his monies from a debtor without any argument and Hon Ned-Nwoko is legitimate business man and he is not embarking on any Illegal diduction from the various state government and local government accounts as been falsely and carelessly speculated by the ALGON acting chairman and therefore we urge the general public with the presidency to take note and disregard any false statements regarding to the issue of Paris club bail out funds saga involving Barr. Prince Ned-Nwoko henceforth.”
