House Fire Incidence: Esewezie Pens Down ‘Note of Appreciation’ As Family Escapes Death

Hon. Innocent Esewezie, the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Oshimilli North Local Government Area, Delta State, for the March 6 council elections in the state has commended everyone that played a role in assisting his family to aid their miraculous escape during a fire incidence in his Igbuzor residence in Asaba that destroyed a section of his apartment on Thursday.
The fire incidence occurred at about 8p.m.
In a statement, the politician appreciated all those who showed concern after the fire incident that gutted a section of his house.
Esewezie who appreciated “the timely intervention of neighbours who rescued his children that were almost trapped by the fire, and the quick response of fire service that assisted passersby to extinguish the disastrous flames that was almost finding it way to the other parts of the building,” said though properties were damaged, but it pleases God to save the lives of the children and he is thankful for that.
In the statement titled: ‘Note of Appreciation,’ he commended the Director of Protocol, Government House; Hon. Ifeanyi Oboigbe, the Commissioner For Youth Development; Comrade Ifeanyi Ewgunyenga, the SSA Youth Development Comrade Emeka Asiwe and Barr. Ikechukwu Nmaduemezie and many others that visited the scene of the incident early today.
Furthermore, he acknowledged the series of calls, SMS, social media messages and prayers he received over the fire incident.

According to him, “the cause of the fire outbreak is yet to be known, but there are suspicions that it may not be unconnected with electrical problems that may have emanated from circuit breaker.”
Furthermore, Hon. Esewezie called on all to celebrate God with him for saving the lives of his family members.
