Okowa Has Transformed Delta Beyond Expectations –Jeffery Mordi

The Delta State Governor, Senator (Dr) Ifeanyi Okowa, has been applauded for the holistic approach, designed for the infrastructural and human capital transformation of the state in tandem with his administration’s Stronger Delta mantra.
A councillorship candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in ward 9A Okpanam, Oshimili North Local Government Area, Comrade Sunday Jeffery Mordi, gave the commendation while speaking with newsmen on reasons for his political ambitions, Okowa’s achievements and other sundry issues of concern.

Comrade Jeffery Mordi, who recalled that the administration of Governor Okowa has constructed massive roads in the state and Okpanam in particular in his commitment towards redefining the state capital territory as well as its job and wealth creation for women and youths through the STEP and YAGEP schemes among other programmes.
The councillorship hopeful said that his ambition was aimed at attracting more socioeconomic growth and development to his constituency, adding that if elected, he would initiatiate empowerment scheme for youths , provide instructional materials for children in primary and secondary schools in his constituency.
Comrade Jeffery Mordi, described the Commissioner for Basic and Secondary Education, Mr. Patrick Ukah, as a consummate and community leader , and whose influential role had continued to impact positively on the growth of Okpanam as well as political elevation of several individuals in the community.
While stating that he would operate an open door policy and give his people quality representation, Comrade Mordi stressed the need for youths to shun anything that could jeopardise their future, just as he reiterated that he strive to ensure that his constituency was carried along in the scheme of things in the local government administration.
Comrade Jeffery Mordi, who solicited the support of his constituents to enable him and his party triumph in the forthcoming local government election, billed to hold in March 6, said that he would ensure regular interface with all stakeholders and party faithful in carrying out his people oriented programmes.
