Udu LGA: Jite Brown Holds Valedictory Meeting With Cabinet As Tenure Ends
The Executive Chairman of Udu Local Government Council of Delta State, Chief Jite Brown, has held a valedictory meeting with cabinet members just as he received unprecedented encomium from them.
Speaking at the meeting held on Wednesday, the Chairman said the gathering was aimed at thanking his executive members for their roles in making sure that his tenure ends well.
He noted that he held no grudges against his Vice, Hon Justice Iyasere and one of his Supervisors, Mr. Emmanuel Kpomalefe for contesting against him in the just concluded PDP Primary election.
While explaining that there was no permanent enemy in politics but what was permanent is interest, Jite Brown said the PDP in Udu remains one United family.

In their related remarks, Hon Justice Iyasere maintained that the Udu Council chairman, has a large heart of kindness which he exhibited during the meeting inspite of the acrimonious tendencies.
He added that Jite Brown’s political sagacity will take him to higher places.
Hon. Emmanuel Kpomalefe on his part said he was elated for sitting in a round table in a convivial atmosphere with his colleagues.
He thanked Hon. Jite Brown for giving him the opportunity to serve under his administration as he promised to work with the council chairman in the forthcoming local government council election in the state.
Present at the meeting were, Barrister Eloho Awinoron, Secretary to Udu Local Government Council, Hon. Ernest Mereh Supervisor for Finance, Hon. Saturday Mofoye, Udu PDP Vice Chairman, Hon. Senta Willy Supervisor for Agriculture and Natural resources, Hon. Faith Otiri, Supervisor for Education, Hon Eki Afure SA to the council chairman, Hon Daniel Jitokun, Supervisor for Works and others.
