2023 Guber: Ibori, Other Leaders In Delta Central Should Be Allowed To Determine Urhobo’s Choice –Aspirant

A Governorship hopeful under the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Delta State, Evangelist (Dr.) Austin Akpo Ofomana (aka Sambisa forest), has said that Urhobo Nation will produce the governor in 2023, adding that Chief James Ibori, other leaders in Delta central should be allowed to determine Urhobo’s choice.
Ofomana in a statement made available to Oasis Magazine (OM) added that external influences from any of the other two senatorial districts should not determine who will emerge from Urhobo Nation to take over from Governor Ifeanyi Okowa.
He said: “2023 is a matter of Urhobo agenda and Deltans must respect and uphold the legal principles of equity to allow Chief James Ibori and other leaders in Delta Central to determine who the governor will be.”
Furthermore, he said Urhobo Nation should consider Ethiope East to produce Urhobo’s candidate.
He recalled that Ughelli North has produced Felix Ibru (first Executive Governor), Damos Akpore (Deputy Governor) and Senator Ovie Omo Agege (Deputy Senate President.

Furthermore, he said that Ughelli South has produced Senator Evwerido, Sen Aguariawado, Amos Utuama (Deputy Governor for 8years; Udu- Senator Brume and others. Okpe- Senator Eradajaye, Senator Dafinone and two term Speaker, Sheriff Oborevwori.Sapele:- Senator Eferakeya, Monday Igbuya (Speaker DTHA) Uvwie -Evelyn Oboro Rep two terms.
Continuing, he said that Ethiope west has Chief James Ibori (Governor 8years), Ray Inije (Deputy Governor), Senator Amori and then Ben Igbakpa (Rep). Ethiope East -Emeyese Rep and Lovette Idisi for one tenure each.
Speaking further, he called on all sons and daughters and leaders in Ethiope East to present him as the governorship candidate for 2023, saying that history must be made like Benue in time past to produce a Christian governor, as he called on all sons and leaders in Ethiope east to rise and stand for their son, Austin Akpo Ofomana for Governor of Delta State, come 2023.
