Aregbesola Should Stop Being Jealous Of Omisore – APC Chieftain

The former minority leader of the Osun State House of Assembly, Hon. Akinwale Akinwole, known as Omilaji, who represented Ife East between 2015 – 2019, has said that Ife land has been secured for Governor Gboyega Oyetola’s reelection in 2022, adding that Aregbesola must stop being jealous of Omisore.

This, he said in a telephone interview with our correspondent.

Akinwale, a chieftain of APC said that Ife land has never had it so good like this until Governor Oyetola came on board.

He said the ancient town has been forgotten in the developmental plan of Osun State but Oyetola has changed the narrative since he assumed office, adding that he has approved the immediate reconstruction of Iloro – Aganun – Division C Police Hqts Road and construction of a stadium in Ife, as he continues with prompt payment of full salaries and pensions.

In his reaction to the gubernatorial election in 2022, Akinwale said “it is worthy to note that Ife land has always played opposition but in the forthcoming election, Ife land has been secured for Governor Gboyega Oyetola because we are with him now and no more opposition as those that mattered in Ife land have all defected to the All Progressive Congress and will support, canvass, mobilize and vote for the governor’s reelection.”

Reacting to the recent defection of the former deputy governor to Chief Bisi Akande, Senator Iyiola Omisore, Akiwale said It is a good and welcome development and that is to let everyone know that Governor Oyetola is widely accepted because he’s doing the bids of the masses.

He said Senator Iyiola is a lover of good governance and since Governor Oyetola is delivering the dividends of democracy and fulfilling all his electoral promises made to the good people of the state, senator Iyiola will lead his campaign in Ife land.

“He will support, mobilize, campaign and people of Ife land will vote massively for Oyetola reelection when the time comes,” he said.

Reacting to the video of the ex governor Aregbesola where he alleged that Killers have joined the APC, Akinwale said the ex governor should wake up from his slumber and gave the reality that Iyiola Omisore has come to stay in the APC because he is a founding father of the progressive party in the state.

He said the ex governor should stop being jealous of Omisore because he’s a politician to compete with in Osun, noting that the caliber of people Omisore is bringing into the party is top notch

Akinwale said Aregbesola should stop feeling threatened because Omisore has come and will expose all Aregbesola’s spoiler game against the reelection of Governor Oyetola.

He described Omisore as a leader that always stands by his word and his support for Oyetola will bring more development to Ife land and Osun at large.
