Cameroon: Popular Cross Dresser, Two Others Sentenced To Prison For Practicing Homosexuality

A popular Cameroonian cross dresser known as Shakiro and two homosexuals have been sentenced to prison.

According to Cameroon News Agency, the court of first instance in Ndokotti Douala on Tuesday, February 9, found them guilty for practicing homosexuality which.
Homosexuality is a crime in Cameroon.
The suspected homosexuals were sent to the New Bell Central Prison in Douala.
Shakiro is said to have been arrested several times and released.
