Ogboru Is The Leader Of APC In Delta, Says Ayomanor

By Daniel Dafe, Abraka
Deputy Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Delta State, Mr. Elvis Ayomanor, has said that Chief Great Ovedje Ogboru is the leader of the party in the state.
Ayomanor said this on Thursday while addressing party leaders and faithful who were present to witness the APC membership revalidation of Ogboru in Abraka.
According to him, in the absence of the party occupying the governorship seat to have him or her as the state leader, the party’s governorship candidate in the 2019 elections ought to be the leader of APC in the state.
He urged all APC stakeholders and members in the state to work together towards achieving a great party.

Ayomanor continued: “It is not Ogboru’s political family that is here today, but APC family in the state. He remains our guber candidate till date and he is the leader of the party till we get another governorship candidate.”
Continuing, he said at least 23 state executive members were on ground to witness the exercise, adding that if any stakeholder was doing same elsewhere, they would be present.
“We are here to witness his revalidation not because we belong to Ogboru tendency but because he is the leader of the party. Ogboru remains the arrowhead of opposition in Delta State,” Ayoamnor opined, saying that “PDP knows him and fears the name Ogboru.”
