Boko Haram Still In IGP’s Hometown, Geidam 12 Hours After “Invasion”

Contrary to reports of being repelled, Neptune Prime reports that the Boko Haram insurgents who attacked Geidam, capital of Geidam Local Government of Yobe State yesterday at around 6 pm are still hanging around in the town.
Geidam is the hometown of the new Inspector General of Police, Usman Alkali.
As at the time of this publication, Neptune Prime gathered they have moved to Fulatari ward, North of the Emir’s palace and told the residents to vacate the area.
This is coming after they set ablaze a truck belonging to road construction workers and the office of the Fire Service as well as a communications mast belonging to Etisalat.

Neptune Prime also gathered from residents who craved for anonymity that an explosive device had fallen on a household causing unknown casualties.
Meanwhile, army jets are seen hovering over the ancient town.
