Organizers Of Parties That Block Major Roads In Sapele Will Be Dealt With, Says Council Boss

Chairman, Sapele Local Government Area, Hon. Eugene Inoaghan, has said that beginning from today, the 1st day of April 2021, the council will “no longer issue authorization of any guise for celebration that will result in the blockage of any public major road or tolerate same from members of the public,” adding that offenders will be dealt with.
According to a release, this decision was “taking in good fate after series of unauthorized blockage of access roads were reported in the last few weeks.”

Adding: “To this end, it is therefore of note that anyone disobeys this directive will be penalized accordingly by the appropriate body.”
The statement said “celebrants are free to use event centers, school fields or their buildings for functions.”
