JUST IN: DELSU Matriculates 9, 461 Students For 2020/2021 Academic Session

No fewer than 9, 461 students have been offered provisional admission into various departments of Delta State University, DELSU, Abraka, out of the 37, 176 candidates who applied for admission to the institution.

Disclosing this on Saturday at Abraka during the matriculation ceremony for the 2020/2021 academic session, Vice Chancellor of the institution, Prof. Andy Egwunyenga, also hinted that 1,291 candidates were offered admission into the various postgraduate programmes and 382 into the Intensive and Part Time Programmes of the university.

In his address, Prof. Egwunyenga warned that any student involved in cultism, examination malpractices and other anti-social vices would be thrown out, stressing that the matriculation ceremony was a universal academic tradition and a requirement in higher institutions.
