Andy Uba Wins APC Anambra Governorship Primary

The All Progressives Congress (APC), held its gubernatorial primary election across the 326 political wards in Anambra State yesterday, the 26th day of June 2021.

The primary election which was held peacefully was adjudged as the most free and fair primaries ever held across the East of Niger.

The gubernatorial primary election committee ably headed by the Executive Governor of Ogun State, Prince Dapo Abiodun (MFR), declared the results of the primaries as thus: Total accredited voters: 348,490 Total valid votes: 348, 490 Total invalid vote: NIL Method of voting: Option A4 (Direct primaries).

The votes scored by each aspirant in no particular order are as follows: Azuka Okwusa: 17,159 Johnbosco Onunkwo: 28,746 Paul Oriajaka: 4,248 Ben Etiaba: 4,244 Conel Onyejegbu: 3,414 Maxwell Okoye: 2,540 Andy Uba (MFR): 230, 201. Chido Nwankwo: 21,281 George Moghalu: 18,596 Amobi Nwokafor: 3,335 Ikeobasi Mokelu: 3,727 Edozie Mmadu: 3,626 Hygers Ifeanyi: 1,466 Godwin Okonkwo: 5907.
