DELSU Holds Commendation Service For Late Professor Omojimite

The Management of the Delta State University (DELSU), Abraka on Friday, 18th June, 2021, held a Commendation Service in honor of Late Professor Benson Uvietobore Omojimite, at the University ATSCAN Hall Site II.
Professor Omojimite was until his death, a lecturer in the Department of Economics, Faculty of the Social Sciences.
The Vice Chancellor, who was represented by DVC Admin, Prof. Mrs Roseline Okoh, described the lecturer as a committed staff with outstanding impact.

Prof. Atare Otite, Dean, Faculty of the Social Sciences, eulogized the late lecturer, as a passionate teacher, describing his death as a loss to the Department of Economics and the Faculty of Social Sciences.
The event drew the presence of the top brass of the University and Deans of Faculties, Heads of Departments, lecturers and students, family, friends and colleagues of the deceased.
Meanwhile, the deceased was buried on Friday in Abraka.
