Delta APC Chair Meets Nwaoboshi, Commends Agege’s Leadership Qualities
Describes PDP’s Statement Against Nwaoboshi As Last kick Of A dying Horse
Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Delta State Caretaker Committee, Prophet Jones Erue has met with Distinguished Senator Peter Nwaoboshi alongside the party leader, His Excellency, Distinguished Senator Ovie Omo-Agege, The Obarisi of Urhobo-land.
Prophet Erue who was overwhelmed with joy over the defection of the political oracle of Delta State politics and Senator representing Delta North in the 9th Assembly, praised his resilience and determination to play his role in the rescue mission of our dear State from the shackles of misrule and tribal politics of the Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa’s PDP administration which he said has impoverished the inhabitants of the state.
Erue commended the visionary leadership of the party leader, His Excellency, Distinguished Senator Ovie Omo-Agege, who has gone out of his comfort zone to launch an aggressive membership drive to reposition the party for electoral victories which has brought to the APC fold prominent political figures of repute particularly a serving Senator of no mean status as Distinguished Senator Peter Nwaoboshi.

Prophet Erue took a swipe at the opposition PDP’s vituperations against Senator Peter Nwaoboshi’s decision to resign his membership of a clannish party whose governance style of a heterogeneous State like Delta has been reduced to an Owa-Alero ethnic enclave of Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa, thereby deliberately denying other parts of the State, the impacts of good governance inspite of the humongous revenue that accrued to the State over the past six years.
While describing the statements credited to the PDP as akin to the last kick of a dying horse, and made out of frustration having realized the electoral implications of the diminishing fortunes of its ranks which undoubtedly, will send the party packing from government house in Asaba, he further cautioned that 2023 will no longer be business as usual for the inept PDP administration.
Prophet Erue assured Deltans of a new hope in the horizon which will usher in a progressive oriented administration that will rewrite the political history of Delta State and create a sense of belonging to all and sundry in tandem with democratic ethos.
He therefore urged Deltans to be steadfast and prepared to vote out the failed PDP administration in the 2023 general elections.
