EFCC Arrests, Detains Abia Govt Officials For Paris Club Refund Fraud

The Enugu Zonal office of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has arrested some officials of the Abia State government for matters relating to the Paris Club refund.
It was gathered that they were arrested in the evening of Thursday, June 17, 2021.
Their arrested officials are to explain to the anti-graft agency their respective roles in the Paris Refund scandal.
The officials said to have been detained at the Enugu Zonal Office of the anti graft commission are both former and serving members of the Abia State Government

Spokesperson of the EFCC, Wilson Uwujaren could not be reached as of the time of filing this report.
