Fulani Leader Shot Dead In Kwara
A Fulani leader, Alhaji Abdullahi Hardo Buruku, popularly known as Alhaji Malam, in Lamba town, Asa local government area of Kwara state has been shot dead by unknown gunmen.
Idoma Voice Newspaper reports that the gunmen stormed the town around 12midnight on Wednesday, shooting in the air.
“They shot him on the spot. We heard gunshots all over,” he said.
Also one of the sisters of the deceased, Aina’u Hardo Buruku, confirmed the incident to Daily Trust.
She said the gunmen met the victim in his bedroom and murdered him.
Until his death, the deceased was the chairman, Gan Allah Fulani Development Association of Nigeria, Kwara state branch.
He was the eldest son of the late Sarkin Fulani of Kwara, Alhaji Mu’azu Hardo Buruku
