Warri South LG Embarks On Face-Lift Of Major Roads In Warri

In line with the promise to beautify Warri in his second term, Chairman of Warri South Local Government Area in Delta State, Dr Michael Tidi, has embarked on paintings of major roads in Warri.

Recall that the Chairman, during his second term Inauguration speech, had promised to beautify Warri. To match his words with action, the chairman immediately set up a beautification task force which swung into action immediately.

Some of the roads been painted by the council are; NPA Bypass, Okere Junction, Odion Road Roundabout, McIver Roundabout, DBS by Governors Annex, Eagle Roundabout, Angle Park, Okumagba Avenue by Edjemudarho, and Okumagba Avenue Round About Deco Junction etc.

The Warri South Council Special Beautification Task Force was set up March 22, 2021 few weeks into the second term of Dr Tidi while in office.

The Warri South Council Task Force on Beatification has since its inauguration embarked on removal of illegal structure across the council, a move many resident have applauded as it has made the city look beautiful and cleaner.

Tidi had earlier said that his policy direction is anchored on a cleaner, safer and environmentally friendly Warri South as impetus for attracting rapid socio-economic development.
