Tilije Elated On His Reappointment As Commissioner, Describes Kwale Industrial Park As Life Changing Project

The immediate past Commissioner for Finance in Delta State and a member of the newly constituted State Executive Council, Chief Fidelis Tilije, has described the yet to commence Kwale Industrial Park as one of the key projects initiative of Governor Ifeanyi Okowa, that would contribute immensely towards driving the state economy.

Chief Tilije, who stated this in Asaba during a reception party he organised for guests after his swearing in ceremony as a Commissioner by the governor, said that the project would have multipliers effect on the people of Ndokwa ethnic nationalities.

The former finance commissioner said that the project would soon kick off, adding that the state government was putting every necessary measures to ensure that the benefits of the initiative was achieved for the overall good of the state and the people of Ndokwa nation in particular.

While affirming that the Ndokwa nation had not been so privileged enough to benefit from more in terms of Infrastructural development from the previous administrations in the state before the advent of Okowa administration to commensurate with the enormous natural resources such as gas and crude oil, Chief Tilije said that the present administration had given the area the needed recognition.

Chief Tilije, said that though the Ndokwa nation deserved higher institution in the area, the place had not in any way been neglected by the Okowa led administration.

He said that the governor had always considered several individuals from the area for appointment, just as he commanded him for finding him worthy to serve in his administration since 2015 till date.

Chief Tilije, however, called on Ndokwa people to be more united and continue to support the administration of Senator (Dr) Ifeanyi Okowa, adding that through unity of purpose, more projects would be attracted to the area.

He said that Beneku bridge project was near completion, noting that there was need for a road to be constructed from Iselegu to Aboh.

Speaking in an interview with newsmen, Executive Assistant to the Governor on Security Matters , Chief Isaac Onyesom , said he was happy that two indigenes of the area, Chief Fidelis Tilije and Chief Festus Ochonogor were reappointed as commissioners by Governor Ifeanyi Okowa.

Chief Onyesom, advised the people of Ndokwa ethnic nationalities to be more united as the 2023 elections approached, positing that the area had benefited immensely from the Okowa administration.
