Udu Constituency: Livingstone Edirin Joins SDP, Declares For DTHA

Ahead of 2023 elections, and with a resolve by the Ambassador Oke Idawene-led executive to reposition Social Democratic Party (SDP), in Delta State, the party recently received Hon Livingstone Edirin to her fold, as the young politician declared his intension to represent the good people of Udu in the Delta State House of Assembly.
In a well attended meeting of state executives and local government Chairmen of the party with a resolve to take over Delta State, sources at the meeting said Delta SDP has began a total overhaul of its structures and revamping of the party’s offices in the 25 local government areas.
According to the Chairman of the party in the state, Ambassador Oke Idawene, Udu now has a befitting secretariat.
Adding that they will soon start to restructure the women and youth wings of the party for more effectiveness to enable them continue their community development programs.

He continued: “We are the real alternative. We enjoin every one that is ready to salvage our state and country to join us. We remain MKO Abiola ambassadors.”
While welcoming him to the party, Idawene said Hon Livingstone Edirin is a young man who has all it takes to restore UDU to its place of glory.
He also expressed confidence in him and assured Deltans that the only alternative is SDP.
“We are your servants and messengers, please send us,” he said.
The State Secretary of SDP, Pastor Highness Akporode in his remarks, laid emphasis on the need to get more youths and women into government.
