Dankwambo Leads Large Entourage On Visit To Hon Nwokocha

Former Accountant General of the federation and former Executive Governor of Gombe State, His Excellency, Alhaji Ibrahim Hassan Dankwambo has paid a courtesy visit to the country home of his bosom friend and brother, the Rt. Hon. Darlington Nwokocha (Darloo) at Umungalagu Nvosi, in Isiala Ngwa South LGA, Abia State.

During the visit on Thursday August 12, 2021, the 12th of August, 2021, the two political leaders, who have maintained a robust and long-standing friendship, had a swell time together.

Flanked by the heavy entourage that came with him which included the former deputy governor of the state, current state Party Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Gombe State, some colleagues of the host from the National Assembly, present and past members of Gombe State Executive Council and so many other dignitaries accompanied the former governor on the August visit.

It would be recalled that Dankwambo, one of the top national leaders of the PDP, who was billed to attend his friend’s birthday celebration last month, used Thursday’s visit as a makeup for his unavoidable absence during his host’s 53rd birthday celebration that took place on July 16.

Dr. Dankwambo, who was relaxed during his stay with his host and enjoyed the native delicacies of Ngwa land, commended him for his giant strides in the National Assembly, especially, for the positive turnarounds he is bringing about in the insurance sector of the nation’s economy and many more achievements he has recorded so far within his immediate Isiala Ngwa North and South federal constituency, urging him to maintain the developmental tempo.

He promised to visit again and again in furtherance of their strong relationship that spans many years.
