Edevbie Family Congratulates Governor Okowa On Successful Burial Of late Father

Members of the Edevbie family have congratulated Governor Ifeanyi Okowa on the successful burial of his late father, Pa Okorie Arthur Okowa JP, today in Owa Alero, Ika North East Local Government Area of the state.
Today was set aside by the entire Okowa family to give the late patriarch final passage in a ground style christened ‘Celebration of Life.’
Chief Okowa died on the 28th of January, 2021 at age 88.
A statement signed by Emmanuel Edevbie on behalf of the former Chief of Staff to Governor Okowa and a frontline aspirant in the 2023 governorship race in the state, Olorogun David Edevbie, said the legacies the deceased left behind are sufficient reasons to celebrate the departed community leader who the family contributed immensely to the development of Owa Kingdom in particular and Ika nation in general.

According to the statement, Pa Okowa left behind a vacuum that may never be filled, saying that Edevbie dynasty commiserates with the Okowa family in these times, as they urged those that hold Pa Okowa in high esteem to continue in his steps.
“Pa Okowa lived a fulfilled life and we urge the Okowa family to rather than mourn, celebrate,” the statement added, as they prayed that God continues to console the family and all those grieving because of the transition of Pa Okowa to glory.”
