Governor Okowa Congratulates Ukah, Says His Appointment As SSG Is Based On Divine Direction

Governor of Delta State, Senator Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa has congratulated Chief Patrick Ukah on his appointment as the Secretary to the Delta State Government, saying that his appointment was based on divine direction.
Okowa said this on Thursday during an event hosted by Okpanam Community of Oshimili North Local Government Area in honor of Chief Ukah.
Speaking at the event, the state Governor felicitated with the people of Oshimili North and Okpanam Community with notes that the appointment is a very important one in government that requires time and focus in order to create an enabling environment for the state to thrive progressively.
He affirmed that the appointment was divine as the name Patrick Ukah turned a repetitive sound to his mind after his prayers for God’s directives to help him finish strong and productively.

He therefore revealed that his appointment needs loyalty and capacity which he believes stands as performance to grow.
He charged the people of Oshimili North and Delta State at large to remain resolute and significant in their belief system as the leadership of the state would love to impress everyone and would not hesitate to apologise in areas where mistakes are made.
