West Africa Challenge Cup: Chiche Okpala Scores To Give New Club, Les Buffles First Victory

Les Buffles new Nigeria import, Chiche Okpala’s first half goal and assist was enough to secure the Republic of Ben’in side with a 2-0 win in the opening day of the West Africa Challenge Cup.
Les Buffles took the lead in the first quarter of the first half with an assist from former Sunsel Fc hitman, Henry Okpala who set up Noumonvi Stone whose strike beat the Renaissance (USGN) of Niger goal keeper to give them them a 0-1 lead.
The 2019 NLO2 highest goal scorer hustling paid off when he converted a spot kick awarded to increase the lead to 2-0 before the halftime whistle.

Chiche thanked God and the management of his new club for the opportunity as well as credit to his co- Nigeria players Ajayi Moyiwa, Abayomi and other colleagues whose help made him settle easily in his new found home.
