HoRs Member, Ibrahim Isiaka Reacts To Bad Roads, Calls For Investigation Of Hike In Consumable Goods In Nigeria

House of Representatives member, Hon Ibrahim Ayokunle Isiaka, has called on the Federal Government of Nigeria to fix the damaged roads across the country with immediate effect.
Hon Ibrahim Isiaka is the Chairman, House Committee on Ecological funds and he has worked tremendously to ensure erosion control was effected across the nation through his committee at the Federal House of Representatives.
Isiaka, said this during the presentation of the ‘Act to Establish Nigeria Police College of information Technology, Abeokuta to provide academic and professional training in information technology for related matters’ has scaled through second reading at the National Assembly, House of Representatives.
He lamented the significant destruction the bad roads have caused to both economic and social development of the country, most especially the inter-border roads using Sango to Idiroko, Lafenwa to Imeko, Ilara roads as yardstick crying for immediate repairs.
“I hereby call on the house to mandate the Federal Ministry of works to mop up with immediate effect repair of all the damaged roads and bridges across the nation, to put an end to the destruction of economic growth both to human and social development in the country…..
Also, he asked the House to mandate Federal House committee on works to follow up and effect compliance, saying commuters face lots of challenges on our roads on a daily basis.

Adding that “the lives and propertt of citizens are being endangered on these roads and bridges.”
However, he called on the National Assembly to launch an investigation into recent hike in consumable goods in the market across the country and analysis through the stakeholder in the nation to bring lasting solution in other to enable the masses feed themselves with the little they earn.
Aside from the competency in the house committee on Ecological Funds, National Assembly, Hon Ibrahim Isiaka has been ensuring his constituents enjoy the dividends of democracy through massive empowerment and landmark developmental projects across Ifo-Ewekoro federal constituency through quality representation.
