… Regrets Nwuke’s Exit From Party

… Charges Party Faithful To Remain Focussed, Steadfast On Track To Rescue Rivers In 2023

…. Says Amaechi Is Human, Can’t Satisfy Every Party Leader’s Appetite

Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress and erstwhile National Publicity Secretary of the defunct New People’s Democratic Party, (nPDP), Chief Eze Chukwuemeka Eze, has criticized comments credited to Senator Magnus Ngei Abe, where the former Rivers South-East Senator arrogated to himself the status of an ‘alpha et omega’, the ‘numero uno’ and in fact, the ‘fons et origo’ of the All Progressive Congress, APC, Rivers State.

In a statement made available to media houses in Port Harcourt, the party Chief said it is smacks of sheer arrogance and represents an amusing bit of foolery for Abe to make such a bogus statement when his membership status in the party is enmeshed in a messy controversy and thus in abeyance.

“It is ironical and laughable to learn that Senator Magnus Abe whose membership of the All Progressives Congress is a matter of question, has continued to deceive some gullible youths of Rivers State that APC will not exist in Rivers State without him and some of his misguided supporters even when he has tactically removed himself from the party upon his deliberate refusal to renew his membership of the party amidst several windows of opportunities”.

Abe, had in a gathering during the weekend, said APC does not exist in Rivers State without him.

Reacting, Eze said for Senator Abe to continue to parade himself as an APC Chieftain shows how shamelessly deceitful he can be in his efforts to destroy the political fortunes of those who have made themselves willing tools in his hands.

Eze recalled how Abe’s self-style politics led to the defeats and exclusion of the All Progressives Congress in 2015 and 2019 elections respectively and assured that his satanic schemes will not see the light of day in 2023, having recused himself from the APC in the state.

On the resignation of Mr. Ogbonna Nwuke, erstwhile Rivers APC Spokesperson, Eze described it as most unfortunate and regrettable.

“As much as I have nothing against his resignation from the party which I believe was executed after careful thought by him, I expected thinking that he would have given enough thought towards his very many sacrifices to the Amaechi’s political family and what he has also gained from same, having been privileged to serve as one time Director of Press Unit of Government Housing, one time time Commissioner for Information, Commerce and a member of the National Assembly of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. What else is he expecting from Amaechi and as an inner member of the party he shouldn’t have been frightened by the calibre of PDP members that have joined and planned to join the party from his political zone as more chances still exist in the party for all and sundry.”

On the excuse that Etche and her people have not benefitted anything from the APC led Government, Eze said Mr. Nwuke forgot so much in a hurry that apart from other appointments as enumerated by him that through APC, Mr. Marshall Israel from Etche was appointed as the youngest ever Commissioner of Federal Commissioner Public Complaints Commission (NIGERIAN OMBUDSMAN) to oversee both Rivers State and Bayelsa States, coupled with many other appointments.

“We should not also forget that during the administration of Amaechi as the Governor of Rivers State, all the facilities accruable to other zones of the State was also sited in Etche including gigantic model schools and health facilities. As much as I condemn the terrible road network in Etche which is obtainable in almost all the zones of the State due to the visionless administration we have in Rivers State, the APC government should not be held responsible for the wicked act against Etche and her people after all the praise singing for Governor Wike and his drowning PDP.”

Eze described most of the characters that have benefitted so much from Amaechi and are being assembled to defect to PDP by tomorrow as politicians who feel that they can no longer endure hunger and maintain their integrity and preferred to join Governor Wike after describing him as the worst thing that have happened to Rivers State. For them to retrace their steps to go back to Egypt and swallow their vomits simply put them as lacking integrity and shouldn’t in any way disrupt the mission of APC to rescue Rivers State from a Government that earns so much but can’t pay Civil Servants their salaries and the Pensioners their pension.

Eze assured the world that Rivers State chapter of APC remains a very strong machine capable of taking over the Brick House come 2023, adding that try do not express any fear about those who can no longer keep faith with our vision for reasons we all know.

Eze reiterated that Amaechi as an individual has done his best to ensure that Rivers sons and daughters occupy strategic Federal Government positions and for anybody to think that because he or she has not been appointed the party should be drowned, such a fellow is neither fair to himself nor Amaechi.

“Even President Buhari as the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria cannot be said to have met all the political yearnings of those from Katsina State talkless of meeting up with some of us that risked our lives to set up the party both at the National and State levels and we are not complaining”

Chief Eze appealed to geniue party faithful to remain focussed and steadfast as the project to rescue Rivers State is a task that must be accomplished no matter the amount of defection.

He assured that by December, 2021, there is going to be massive defections from the PDP to the APC both in the State and at the National Level.
