3rd Force-2023 Inaugurates Isoko North, South Chapters, As Augoye Charges Group To Deliver
By Daniel Dafe
3rd Force-2023, a pressure group that has taken up the task to play a key role in selecting the next Delta State governor, has inaugurated new chapters in Isoko North and Isoko South Local Government Areas.
This took place in Hon. B.O. Idisi’s compound in Ozoro on Thursday, as the National Coordinator of the group, Chief David Omoru, led other national executive members to grace the event.
Also present was a frontline gubernatorial aspirant of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Chief James Augoye alongside some of his supporters.
Speaking during the occasion, Chief Omoru thanked Chief Augoye for attending the event, saying he did promise the group in Isoko that the guber aspirant will be physically present to witness the inauguration.
While stating the reasons 3rd Force-2023 is in support of the candidature of Augoye, he described the politician as one with a near-impeccable character, adding that he is a man of morality, humility and a political figure with the fear of God.
He added: “There are many governorship aspirants. but, we have seen that Augoye is shoulder higher than them,” just as he said that the reality on ground shows that Okpe deserves to produce the governor for equity sake since Ethiope with Chief James Ibori and Ughelli with late Chief Felix Ibru have taken their shots at Osadebey House.
He continued: “This is the time that Urhobo must speak with one voice.”
Meanwhile, Augoye during his speech charged the group to remain focused and determined in order to achieve their mission.

He told the new executive in the council areas that they were chosen because of the confidence the national body has in them and thus called on them to work and contribute their own quota towards achieving the group’s mandate.
Continuing, he said that the project was not just his project, but also God’s project and therefore bound to succeed.
Chief Augoye tasked them not to be distracted by what they hear or see, saying: “I your principal is not only focused, but determined.”
According to him, he is not only mentally and physically fit, but also spiritually in shape to govern Delta.
Earlier, the leader and coordinator of 3rd Force-2023 in Isoko Nation, Hon Benard Idisi, said they were overwhelmed to see Chief Augoye, Chief Omoru and other leaders of the body storm the venue for the inauguration.
Idisi said that they have been working to sensitize the people that their choice of Augoye is the right one.
In his words, “the inauguration of today will give us a boost and in two weeks time we hope to inaugurate executive members in all the wards of Isoko Nation.”
Leaders of the body present at the event include National Assistant Secretary, Esso Boniwe, National Treasurer, Rose Ofuani and National Legal Secretary, Barr. Franca Eke.
