Bishop Oyedepo, Ashimolowo, Others for Foursquare’s 66th National Convention

Notable clerics, including Bishop David Oyedepo of the Living Faith Church and the Senior Pastor of Kingsway International Christian Centre (KICC) worldwide, Pastor Matthew Ashimolowo, have been lined-up as major speakers during the forthcoming 66th national convention of the Foursquare Church.

The annual convention with the theme: “Great & Mighty Things”will commence from November 15 to 21, at the Ajebo Camp, kilometer 75, Lagos-Ibadan Expressway.

According to the church, the week-long programme will kick off with the National Executive Council Meeting (NEC), the highest policy formulating body for the Church and followed by the Business Meeting, on Tuesday November 16.

In a statement issued by the convention planning committee spokesman, Pastor Oludare Mayowa, the convention, which is the major yearly spiritual gathering of worshippers and members of the church, will feature the conduct of a business meeting where the financial statement and account of the movement will be presented to all the delegates from across the church in the country.

“The business meeting represents a forum for the leadership of the movement to present the accounts of their stewardship, which include financial reports, a hallmark of Foursquare,” the release added.

The chairman of the Convention Planning Committee, Reverend Theophilus Eniola Netufo, also, noted that the 2021 Convention is a programme with high expectations and fulfillment of God’s promises for His people.

According to him, respected ministers of the gospel will be ministering along with the General Overseer, Reverend Sam Aboyeji throughout the period of the programme, with workshops, impartations and induction of new ministers, while the convention will be crowned with a service of grace on Sunday, November 21.

Also speaking on the event, the General Overseer, Reverend Aboyeji, assured all that this year’s landmark convention will mark a great turnaround for all worshippers and delegates from across the world and the movement at large as ‘God has promised to do Great and Mighty Things in our midst.’

He said God has promised mighty miracles, which has never been witnessed in the time past in the forthcoming convention. He also assured of all-round security at the campground for participants at the programme.
