Delta Police Rescue Kidnap Victim

On Sunday, 7th November, 2021, at about 12p.m., a police patrol team in Agbarho Division, Delta State, rescued a kidnap victim, Mr. Mudia Efe.

A statement by the police spokesman in the state, DSP Edafe Bright, quoting the confession of the victim, said that Efe was abducted from Abraka by hoodlums who took him away in his grey colour Lexus 330 Jeep with REG NO KWL 841 BM.

According to DSP Bright, he was rescued by the said patrol team along Sobotie Street, Agbarho.

The patrol team, on a township patrol are said to have sighted the vehicle that sped off on sighting the police team.

The patrol team went after the Lexus Jeep that eventually fell into a ditch.

In his words, the police got to the trapped vehicle, but the suspects had quickly disembarked from the vehicle into a near-by bush, adding that “Mr Mudia Efe who was left behind in the car was rescued and his car was retrieved.”

The police said a search is still going on currently to arrest the culprits.
