Kaduna Customs FOU Vows To Use 13 New Vehicles In Turning Tide Against Smugglers
Following the delivery of 13 brand new operational vehicles, the Federal Operations Unit (FOU), Customs Zone B Kaduna has vowed to step up its anti smuggling campaign.
Comptroller of the zone, Al-Bashir Hamisu expressed this while unveiling the four wheel drive at their office in Kaduna on Wednesday, November 17, 2021
“The Comptroller General of Customs, CGC Hameed Ali in effort to ensure success of anti smuggling activities, released 13 brand new operational vehicles.
By the time I deploy these vehicles today, the story will change,” he assured.

He emphasized that based on the development, they pledge to double efforts in discharging of duties.
“We will continue to do our best to ensure smuggling is stopped. With the right information to us or any other agency from the public, we would reduce menace this country is facing through economic sabotage,” he added.
He however, cautioned the official drivers that would be assigned the vehicles to ensure they are properly maintained to make them last long.
In a related development, he also unveiled a brand new power generating plant.
“Today we are launching this 250kva generator to make our officers in the office think well and be more productive,” he said.
