Police Arrest 65-Year-Old Suspect In Possession Of Gun, 130 Rounds Of Live Cartridges, Others In Isoko

Operatives attached to the Command Crack Squad in total compliance with the directive of the Delta State Commissioner of Police for continuous raiding of black spot/criminal hideouts, on Friday at about 4.30pm arrested a 65-year-old man, Solomon Udanya in possession of a gun and one hundred and thirty rounds of live cartridges.
The team is said to have acted on intelligence gathered over a period of time.
The raid was carried out on a criminal hideout at Emevor Community in Isoko North LGA of the state.

Apart from the single barrel long gun and one hundred and thirty rounds of live cartridges, other exhibits recovered from the suspect are three packets of tramadol, six bottles of codeine and various contraband drugs.
The police said investigation is ongoing.
