Christmas: Kaduna NUJ Chairman Salutes Christians

As Christian faithful the world over celebrate Christmas, the newly sworn-in chairman of the NIgeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Kadunà State Council, Farida Abubakar has extended warm felicitations.
She expressed this in a statement signed by her Director General campaign, Okpani Jacob Onjewu Dickson, dated Friday December 24, 2021.
“Christmas is a time of good tidings. As Christians mark this joyous moment, I wish them God’s blessings,” she said.
Farida extended special greetings to the Christian journalists in Kaduna, assuring them that the union is working towards ensuring better welfare package for media practitioners.

“As we celebrate, let us bear in mind that we are making efforts at ensuring that journalists in Kaduna get better welfare.
“On your part, pray that we are all united, putting differences aside and lifting our council to enviable heights,” she added.
The first female council chairman in Kaduna State and the North West, called for sober reflection even as the festivities go on.
“I wish you all a Merry Christmas. As you celebrate, remember to share with the needy in your communities,” she said.
