Ereyitomi, Warri Federal Constituency Mourns Passage Of Chief Jemide

The member representing Warri Federal Constituency in the Federal House of Representatives and Deputy Chairman House Committee on NDDC, Hon. Chief Dr. Thomas Ereyitomi JP mourns the passage of one of the oldest Chief in Warri Kingdom, Hon. Chief Barr. Isaac Jemide.

Chief Ereyitomi described Late Chief Isaac Jemide the Oshodi of Warri as a great man and a successful senior lawyer who used his wealth of experience and knowledge to stabilize the people of Warri and its environs, attracting so many good to Warri.

The Warri federal lawmaker added that the demise of Chief Isaac Jemide was sad to the people of Warri Federal Constituency which he helped to build politically for decades ago up to the level it is currently, Chief Ereyitomi is however optimistic that the quality legacies left behind by Chief Jemide shall be sustained.

Chief Jemide, The Oshodi of Warri Kingdom, Ikeri was a former member of the defunct Bendel State House of Assembly also a former Commissioner in the defunct Oil Mineral Producing Areas Development Commission (OMPADEC), representing Delta State.

Hon. Dr. Ereyitomi on behalf of Warri Federal Constituency commiserated with the Jemide family and Warri Kingdom over the demise of the octogenarian who was also founding member of the Rotary Club of Warri for the past forty years, just as he prayed God to give the family and the entire constituents the heart to bear the passage

Chief Isaac Jemide passed on at 88 in Warri, Delta State.
