Ibusa Agog, As Commissioner For Lands Splashes Gifts On Women Group

Ibusa Community in Oshimili North Local Government Area of Delta State was set agog as the Commissioner for Lands, Surveys and Urban Development in the State, Hon (Barr)Kate Chinwendu Onianwa doled out rice gifts for Christmas to a group known as Female Gender Foundation (FGF) which stands for women emancipation and liberation enforcement of women rights and ensuring gender balancing.

While presenting the gifts to the women group at her Elohim Country home Ibusa, Kate Onianwa, stressed that the group should support the administration of Senator (Dr) Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa to finish strong.

She however, said that Okowa’s laudable performance in office had to a large extent redeemed the obvious lack of confidence people hitherto have for political actors and elected representatives.

Onianwa further maintained that Okowa had laid a solid foundation for responsible leadership in Delta State.

The Commissioner for Lands, Surveys and Urban Development noted that governor Okowa has blocked financial leakages and deployed State resources for common good of all Deltans.

According to Barr. Kate Onianwa “As beneficiaries of the Kate Onianwa’s gesture, what we are doing today is in line with the transformation agenda of governor Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa’s administration.”

She promised to continually take the group along as it concerns government policies that will bring benefits to the Female Gender Foundation (FGF), stressing that the group should shun all forms of deceptive advise that may lead them to fall off from track of governance of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) to see that Okowa’s administration ends well in 2023

Onianwa stated: “This yuletide season for me is to felicitate with you, as Christians all over the world mark the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ, I thank you people for your steadfastness in things that concern God.

She admonished them to also show commitment to love one another.

The leader of the group, Mrs Oby Ugorji in her acceptance speech, appreciated the Commissioner for Lands, Surveys and Urban Development for her gesture towards the group and assured that the group will work assiduously with Kate Onianwa to achieve her political dreams.

The ceremony attracted dignitaries from different walks of life with entertainment of live band group.
